Elizabethtown Fire Station 2
As the City of Elizabethtown continued to expand to the South the need for a fire station on that end of town became apparent. In 1970 the Elizabethtown Fire Department opened the station at 621 East Dixie Avenue. It was a small 2 bay station with living quarters. When opened, the station was shared with the Gas Department for a short time. In 1986 a new living quarters, office area and third bay door was added. The station currently houses Engine 2031 with 5 firefighters.
